Science & Photography
As a conservation photographer, member of the International League of Conservation Photographers, I believe photography is one of the most powerful tools for fostering empathy with nature. My work aims not only to provide an artistic perspective on the experiences I live and learn from, but also to forge a compelling and meaningful connection between society and the natural world.
To achieve this, I combine the evocative power of images with the stories and scientific knowledge behind them. This approach opens new pathways for understanding the intricate relationship between our human culture and our critical role in sustaining and protecting the planet.
We live in a time when every step toward understanding the complexity of nature brings us closer to preserving it. That’s why showcasing the extraordinary places around the world, the remarkable species that inhabit diverse ecosystems, and the awe-inspiring natural processes unfolding every day is one of the most effective ways to raise awareness. It encourages individuals, governments, and organizations to consider nature in their decisions—whether personal, professional, or policy-related.
If we’re going to fight for nature, let’s do it with a camera in our hands.
“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
― Jane Goodall
